Reception 17-18 Packs

Unfortunately our admission forms have been missed in the packs you will receive if your child is due to start with us in September.

We always ensure that our packs include as much information as possible and there are many information letters included, however the form has ‘slipped the net’!

Please be assured that the form will be sent out after half term.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

Merry Christmas!

We had a surprise visit from Santa today! We also enjoyed finishing off some party cakes and biscuits. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas!

Exploring our feelings.

imageThis week we have been exploring our feelings. Today we were talking about the feeling of  ‘disgust’ using the character from the film Inside Out. We had great fun making our own disgusting recipes and writing up them up.

Plenty of fun……whatever the weather!

We have had a great start to the new year and the Foundation Stage children are all settling in really well. They are developing their independence and have soon got the hang of all the new routines including outdoor learning and lunchtimes. It is great to see so many happy faces coming up the ramps each morning. The children have been developing their physical, social and imaginative skills imagea lot during outdoor learning and today was no different despite the wet weather.

Welcome to Foundation Stage

We are looking forward to welcoming all the new reception children into school tomorrow for their first day. We are sure they will all have lots fun in their new classes. Please don’t hesitate to ask if you are concerned or worried about anything during these early days of settling in.

The Aliens Landed!

This week the children have been preparing their own alien tea party after reading the story Alien Tea Party on Planet Zum Zee.

They made alien biscuits, jelly and headbands. They wrote invitations to their friends and made decorations too. imageimageimage imageimageWe had a great time playing alien party games too. image
